Dr. Joseph Purita, MD

Gould Nutrition’s co-owner and Chief Medical Officer is a Georgetown-trained physician and board-certified orthopedic surgeon with a background in regenerative medicine. Our Advanced Creatine + Collagen™ formula was developed under his guidance with Gould Nutrition’s Medical Advisory Board.

Mitch Gould

Founder & CEO, Gould Nutrition

Mitch Gould is a third-generation retail distribution and manufacturing executive whose career spans decades in sports nutrition, health and wellness, and consumer products.

Throughout his career, Gould has been at the intersection of product innovation, retail, and sports nutrition. Working alongside Muscle Foods USA, he played an integral role in helping build Amazon's sports nutrition category in its early years and has developed relationships across many of America's largest retailers, including Walmart, Costco, GNC, Amazon, Walgreens, CVS, and Target.

Gould has also worked alongside some of the most recognizable names in sports and entertainment, including Steven Seagal, Hulk Hogan, UFC champion Chuck Liddell, and eight-time Mr. Olympia Ronnie Coleman, gaining firsthand experience in developing and bringing performance-focused products to consumers.

Today, Gould is applying that experience to Gould Nutrition, the first brand he has built for himself. As Founder and CEO, he has assembled a team of physicians, nutrition and performance experts to develop science-driven products designed around the evolving needs of today's consumers.

Gould Nutrition represents the next chapter of his career: combining decades of industry experience with medical expertise, product innovation, and a commitment to building a new generation of health and performance products.
